Another gardener on an allotment forum I am part of posted this and I thought many of you might find this quite useful. I have a good knowledge of when many things can be planted but I think it always helps to have a reference for those days you forget or pick a new vegetable to try out and a little unsure. Also I have found when buying seeds from a discount store there aren’t any instructions or incomplete instructions on the packet. Hope it helps. Please let me know if you need any clarification or assistance on seed sowing timings.

  1. I’m about to start some seeds for planting in March under cold frames – this is a nice guide but I wish I knew what US zone it applies to. Good to find you on Word Press!

  2. Hi obviously I am UK so not sure of the US sowing guides, although I know weather can vary quite considerably up and down the US so would depend on where you were. I will have a look and see what I can find out and get back to you. In the meantime if you are on facebook there is this brilliant group https://www.facebook.com/groups/allotmentandvegetablegrowers/.
There are people from the US on there and I am sure they will be able to help, everyone on there is very nice and love seeing new people taking up gardening and enjoying it.
